The Formula
No water.
No fillers.
No apologies.
Most men's body products are mostly water — diluted, preserved, and gone by lunch. GLZD body glaze is built the other way: a water-free base of plant oils, squalane, and butter that absorbs into the skin and stays. Here's why that one choice changes how it feels and how it wears.
Why Water-Free
Water is filler that needs a babysitter.
When water goes into a formula, three things follow it. It dilutes the oils that actually do the work, so you get less of them per scoop. It evaporates minutes after it touches your skin, taking that "just absorbed" feeling with it and sending you back for more.
And because water grows bacteria, it forces the formula to carry preservatives and emulsifiers just to hold itself together — ingredients that do plenty for shelf life and nothing for your skin. Take the water out and none of that is necessary. What's left is the part that works.
Why Oil, Not Butter
Most body products sit on top of you. This one sinks in.
A lot of men's products lead with heavy butters — thick, slow, and quick to leave that greasy film that keeps you from getting dressed. GLZD is built on lightweight plant oils and squalane, with just enough mango butter and beeswax to give it body and make it last.
Squalane is the difference. It's the closest match to the oil your own skin already makes, so it absorbs clean instead of pooling on the surface. The glaze melts in, leaves skin soft and low-sheen, and doesn't transfer to your shirt. Rich isn't the same as heavy — this is rich without the weight.
How It Wears
Oil holds scent closer than alcohol ever could.
Cologne is mostly alcohol and water. It flashes the scent off fast and projects loud — filling a room whether you asked it to or not. Oil works differently. A scent carried in an oil base binds to warm skin and releases slowly, close to you, over hours.
That's the whole idea behind body glaze: a scent that lives in your space, not the elevator's. Someone catches it when they're near — a handshake, a hug, leaning in — not from across the room. Quiet, deliberate, and yours.
What's Inside
Eight ingredients, three jobs.
Every scoop is the same base. Eight plant-derived ingredients, each in for a reason — grouped here by the job it does.
Absorb and deliver
Babassu Seed Oil · Sunflower Seed Oil · Rice Bran Oil · Jojoba Seed Oil
The light oils that do the absorbing and carry everything else into the skin. Babassu sinks faster than coconut with no residue; jojoba mimics your own sebum, so oily and dry skin both land balanced.
Richness and staying power
Squalane · Mango Seed Butter · Beeswax
The part that makes it a glaze and not just an oil. Squalane for clean hydration, mango butter for nourishment without weight, and a touch of beeswax so it stays on you and off your clothes.
Keeps skin and formula honest
Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
An antioxidant that protects your skin and keeps the oils stable — part of how a water-free formula holds up without leaning on synthetic preservatives.
Left Out On Purpose
The shortest part of the label.
Made in the USA.
